Our rates are $275 for one night, $225 for 2 to 4 nights, or $200 per night for 5 nights or more, plus 14% HST (federal/provincial sales tax) on all rates.

We accept credit card payment via stripe.

We do not store your credit card number or any other payment information data.

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our guests and our small business.

• Full Refund: Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in will receive a full refund of their payment.
• 50% Refund: If a cancellation is made between 15 to 30 days before check-in, guests will receive a 50% refund.
• No Refund: Cancellations made 14 days or less before check-in are non-refundable.

We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances that may lead to last-minute cancellations.

We’ve made checking in and out as easy and flexible as possible for you!

• Check-in: You can check in any time after 3:00 PM on your arrival day using our convenient self check-in system. We provide a lockbox for the key, and you’ll receive all the necessary details and codes before your arrival, ensuring a smooth and flexible entry.
• Check-out: We kindly ask that you check out by 11:00 AM on your departure day. This allows our cleaning team enough time to prepare the cabin beautifully for our next guests.

You’ll receive detailed instructions for both check-in and check-out a few days before your stay, so you’ll have everything you need for a seamless experience!

Children are welcome, although we do not have a crib and we only have one king sized bed in the cabin.

Our seaside cabin is thoughtfully equipped to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay. Amenities include:

• Fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, lobster/crab pot, cookware, dishes, and utensils.
• Comfortable sleeping arrangements with fresh linens and bedding.
• Private bathroom with shower, toilet, towels, and basic toiletries.
• Washer and dryer for your laundry needs.
• Hot tub for relaxing after a day by the sea.
• Air conditioning and heating to keep you comfortable in any season.
• High-speed Wi-Fi throughout the cabin as well as a TV with satellite. The sunroom has its own free Wifi and TV.
• Library with books for cozy reading time.
• Outdoor deck with seating and beautiful sea views.
• Barbecue grill for outdoor cooking.
• Free parking on the premises.
• Self check-in with a lockbox for flexible arrival.
• Smoke detector and fire extinguisher for your safety.
• Board games and entertainment options for rainy days or quiet evenings.

We also provide essentials such as soap, shampoo, toilet paper, and cleaning supplies. If you have any specific needs or questions about what’s included, please let us know!

The cabin features a spacious king-size bed located in the upstairs bedroom, offering a restful night’s sleep. This bedroom also has access to a private deck, where you can enjoy your morning coffee or relax with a view of the sea. Fresh linens and cozy bedding are provided to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Our cabin is perched on a cliff right by the ocean, offering you a truly spectacular and unforgettable sea view from both inside and outside the cabin. You can relax on the deck and take in the ever-changing sights and sounds of the Atlantic — it’s a perfect spot for watching sunsets or simply unwinding with the fresh sea breeze.

Due to the unique cliffside location and the natural topography, there is no direct access to the beach from the property itself. However, the beautiful Smugglers Cove Provincial Park is just a short walk away, where you’ll find easy access to the shoreline during low tide and the opportunity to explore the beach up close. It’s the best of both worlds: breathtaking views from above and the beach just minutes away!

Our cabin is perfectly situated along the scenic French Coast in Clare County, just a short walk from Smuggler’s Cove Provincial Park. You’ll find yourself between the charming towns of Yarmouth and Digby, with easy access to the best of Nova Scotia’s Acadian Shore.

• Meteghan (with restaurants, cafés, fish markets, and shops) is just a few minutes’ drive away.
• Yarmouth is about a 50-minute drive (approximately 70 km) to the southwest.
• Digby is about a 50-minute drive (approximately 70 km) to the northeast.
• Halifax is about a 3-hour drive (approximately 300 km) from the cabin.
• The beautiful Annapolis Valley, famous for its wineries, orchards, and historic sites, is about 1.5 hours away by car.
• Kejimkujik National Park and Seaside, known for its stunning coastal trails and wildlife, is also about 1 to 1.5 hours away and makes a perfect day trip.

Beautiful sandy beaches are close by, and you can enjoy local activities like clam digging, whale watching, and exploring vibrant Acadian culture in the summer. The area is alive with festivals, fresh seafood, and friendly communities, making it a wonderful base for your Nova Scotia adventure.

Our cabin is well-equipped with many essentials to make your stay comfortable, including linens, towels, basic toiletries, and a fully stocked kitchen with cookware and dishes. However, to make the most of your seaside getaway, we recommend bringing:

• Groceries and Drinks: While there are shops and markets a few minutes away in Meteghan, you might want to pick up your main groceries and any specific beverages you prefer before arriving, especially if you plan to cook.
• Personal Toiletries: We provide basic toiletries, but feel free to bring your favorite shampoo, conditioner, and any other personal care items you can’t do without.
• Beach Essentials: If you plan to visit nearby beaches like Mavillette Beach Provincial Park, consider bringing beach towels (though we provide bath towels), sunscreen, hats, and perhaps some beach chairs or a blanket if you like to lounge.
• Outdoor Gear: Depending on the season and your planned activities, you might want to pack hiking shoes for exploring trails, a light jacket for cooler evenings by the sea, or bug spray for outdoor enjoyment.
• Entertainment: While we have a TV, a library with books and some board games, feel free to bring your own favorite books, games, or streaming devices if you have specific preferences.
• Camera: With the unforgettable sea views and beautiful surroundings, you’ll definitely want to capture some memories!

We aim to provide everything you need for a relaxing stay, but these few additions can help personalize your experience!

To ensure everyone has a wonderful and safe stay at our cabin, we kindly ask guests to observe a few guidelines:

• Campfires: We know campfires are a beloved part of the cabin experience! Please always check the Nova Scotia BurnSafe website before lighting a fire to ensure conditions are safe and burning is permitted. Safety first!
• Smoking: For the comfort and health of all our guests, smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the cabin.
• Events: To maintain a peaceful atmosphere for all, events or parties are not allowed on the property.
• Pets: As mentioned, we unfortunately do not allow pets in the cabin.
