Nature lovers will find endless ways to explore. Just steps from your door is Smugglers Cove Provincial Park, famous for its mysterious sea cave and scenic walking trails. The coastline is dotted with beautiful sandy beaches — perfect for swimming, sunbathing, or even trying your hand at clam digging when the tide is low.

Nearby, you can hike forested trails, go birdwatching, or set out on a whale watching tour from Digby. The Annapolis Valley, with its orchards and award-winning wineries, is just a short drive away and makes a wonderful day trip.

Kejimkujik National Park is a haven for nature lovers, offering pristine forests, peaceful rivers, and a stunning coastline. Whether you’re hiking, paddling, or stargazing under one of Canada’s designated Dark Sky Preserves, Keji is the perfect place to reconnect with nature. 

The region is a paradise for seafood lovers. Enjoy fresh lobster, scallops, and fish from local markets or waterfront restaurants in Meteghan and neighboring villages. Don’t forget to visit the fish markets and try some Acadian specialties!
